The Red Alert warning for the Darling River upstream of the Menindee Lakes, including the town of Wilcannia, as well as the sections of the river immediately upstream and downstream of Wilcannia beyond Caulpaulin remains in place.

Central Darling Shire has many unsealed roads which are currently under a road condition status of Closed or Caution. This means anyone planning to travel on our roads needs to take extreme caution for their own safety and the integrity of the road infrastructure.
