Outstanding Community Service Awards recipients

Central Darling Shire Council has presented 21 Outstanding Community Service Awards for Australia Day.
The awards are an opportunity to acknowledge outstanding contributions by publicly thanking award winners in a spirit of community pride. 
Presentations were made at Australia Day events held on Sunday 26 January in Wilcannia, Ivanhoe, White Cliffs and Menindee.
Congratulations to the following award recipients for 2025:

White Cliffs
• Ron Dowton - Outstanding Service to the Community
• Hayley Atkins – Outstanding Service to the Community
• Enid Black - Volunteer of Year
• Andrew White - Citizen of Year
• Jai Atkins and Laim Taylor - Young Citizen/s of the Year (joint award)
• White Cliffs Camel Cup and Bikekhana - Outstanding Event

Ivanhoe
• Ian Edson (Darnick) - Citizen of the Year
• Damien McMaster - Volunteer of the Year
• Josh Robertson – Service to the Community

Wilcannia
• Rebecca Hatch - Citizen of the Year
• Owen Whyman – Service to the Community
• Bill Elliott - Volunteer of Year
• Cassandra Auld - Special Recognition Service to the Community

Menindee
• Steven Cicak (Sunset Strip) – Service to Community
• Rob Gregory - Citizen of the Year
• Menindee Rural Fire Service –  Service to Community
• Menindee Health Service – Service to Community
• Tyson Meehan – Special Recognition Young Citizen of the Year
• Jali Hogg –Young Citizen of the Year
• Menindee Yabbies Ruby League Club Knockout - Outstanding Event
