44 Reid Street Wilcannia
Central Darling Shire Council is currently in the process of reclassifying a parcel of land at 44 Reid Street Wilcannia, formerly known as the Knox and Downs building, from Community to Operational.
Council is undertaking this process to facilitate the development of the Baaka Cultural Centre to be constructed on the site. Part of this process is the development of a Plan of Management and Lease for the site.
In accordance with legislation, documents have been placed on exhibition, a public hearing was held on Tuesday 22 June 2021 and final submissions are being taken until Friday, 2 July 2021.
